Every photograph I have captured has shaped my perspective on life. There is a moment to capture every second of every day, and I apply this rule to every photo I take.

It’s the simple things in life that can sometimes matter the most.

For example, the emotional bond between a mother and a child. The unseen connection between a family or best friends, or the sentimental value and nostalgia between a person and a space.

These are all things that to an untrained eye can be hard to see. But I like to bring these details into my work, make them a focal point and have the viewer connect with the photograph on an emotional level, whether they know the image subjects or not.

Having a photograph taken of yourself can be somewhat daunting, especially if you perceive yourself to be “unphotogenic” or “unconfident” in front of a camera.

But I like to remind my clients that it is an experience that you can just have fun with. Try not to think about it too hard and just go with it. Be natural and let the rest take care of itself.

I will be available to help guide an individual(s) right from the very start, throughout a shoot, all the way through to receiving the finalized images. This is what I believe is key to creating a simple and relaxed image.
